Burning Man
Easily the most rad photo I took all week at the fair. CAPTION: Daredevil John Anderson Jr., aka Johnny Thunder of Decatur, Ind., runs from a burning car after a stunt at the Boone County Fair. The stunt involved Anderson getting into the car, igniting 20 gallons of gasoline and escaping. He was not hurt.
A backstage glance
I kept waiting over and over for one of the queen contestants to poke their head way outside the curtain. None of them did, but I liked the quietness of this one better, where she’s just glancing through the curtain out toward the audience.
