Fog & Tree
I got bored today. I went to the big tree and shot some film.

I just finished a group project for one of my classes…a little multimedia piece about a holiday festival here in Columbia.
And I thought I’d post another one from the project…Here’s Heather again, checking her voicemail before heading out to perform during the festival.

Caught this one last night while shooting a Christmas festival in downtown Columbia.

Heather Thorgard, as Mother Ginger from “The Nutcracker” :: Columbia, Mo.
I’ve been hanging out with a Barack Obama student group here at MU for about the last two months, shooting everything from rallies to voter registration drives, to their latest excursion to Iowa to canvas and campaign for Obama.
The weather was crappy…really crappy, so they ended up making calls from the campaign’s headquarters in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Glenn Rehn, fearless leader, took time out of his busy calling schedule to take a portrait with me. Or maybe I just caught him looking at me…

The girl on the right drove all the way from Atlanta to campaign for Obama.

Posters and mailings in the windowsill.

Caitlin Ellis, another volunteer, making a call.

Talking with Chris, the precinct captain.

Whew…towards the end of the afternoon.

…and heading out, back to Columbia.
